West Ham United welcomed Everton at the London Stadium earlier this afternoon as they look to pick up all three points at home. The Hammers made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 32nd minute when Aaron Cresswell scored with a superb freekick. The East London giants went into the half-time break with a narrow 1-0 advantage.
Mason Holgate equalised for Everton in the 53rd minute with a deflected attempt. However, Jarrod Bowen stepped up and marked his return with a goal just five minutes later. West Ham United found themselves at a numerical advantage as Michael Keane was sent off in the 65th minute. The contest ended with the Hammers securing an impressive 2-1 win in the English capital.
Let’s take a look at how each West Ham player performed during the match against the Toffees.
GK: Łukasz Fabiański – 6/10
The Polish keeper made one good save in the game but will be disappointed after conceding a goal early in the second half.
RB: Ryan Fredericks – 6.5/10
Fredericks was solid at the back and created one key chance going forward.
CB: Craig Dawson – 6.5/10
He cleared his lines when needed but won’t be pleased after allowing a goal in the second half.
CB: Kurt Zouma – 7/10
Zouma made a few important clearances inside his half and was strong in the air.
LB: Aaron Cresswell – 7/10
He opened the goal-scoring with a superb free-kick and was tidy with his passing.
CM: Tomas Soucek – 7/10
Soucek won plenty of aerial duels for his team and protected his backline quite well. However, he offered very little in the final third.
CM: Declan Rice – 7/10
The England international earned the ball back a few times and made one key chance in the opposition half.
RW: Jarrod Bowen – 7.5/10
He marked his return with a good goal in the second half which gave West Ham all three points.
CAM: Said Benrahma – 6.5/10

LW: Pablo Fornals – 6.5/10
Fornals caused a few problems for the Everton defenders but was fortunate to last the whole 90 minutes.
ST: Michail Antonio – 8/10
He caused all kinds of headaches for the opposition centre-backs with his excellent creativity and dribbling up top. However, there was no goal for Antonio today.
Substitutes:
CM: Mark Noble – 6/10
He added some energy to David Moyes’ midfield.
RW: Andriy Yarmolenko – N/A
Yarmolenko didn’t get enough minutes to warrant a rating.
