Chelsea entertained Real Madrid at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they looked to earn a positive result at home. The Blues made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 21st minute when Karim Benzema scored with a solid header. The French striker doubled Los Blancos’ advantage just three minutes later when he found the back of the net with another header. However, Kai Havertz got his name on the scoresheet with a good header in the 40th minute as Chelsea went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
Benzema capitalised on a mistake from the home side and completed his hattrick in the 46th minute. The Blues failed to come up with another response and crashed to a 3-1 defeat in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the match against Los Blancos.

He failed to give a good account of himself defensively in the first half and got substituted at half-time.
CB: Thiago Silva – 6/10
The Brazilian defender earned the ball back a couple of times but couldn’t stop Benzema from wreaking havoc.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 5/10
The German centre-back looked shaky when defending inside his half but was guilty of committing a poor error in the lead-up to Madrid’s third goal

CM: N’Golo Kante – 6/10
Kante made one good chance going forward but got replaced at half-time.

The Spaniard made a few crucial clearances at the back and had some bright moments in the opponent’s half
