Manchester City locked horns with Burnley at Turf Moor earlier today as they hoped to secure a victory and move back to the top of the Premier League table. The Mancunian giants made a great start to the game as they took the lead in the fifth minute courtesy of Kevin De Bruyne’s powerful finish. Ilkay Gundogan doubled Man City’s advantage in the 25th minute when he found the back of the net with a half-volley. The Mancunian giants went into the half-time break with a healthy two-goal lead.
Pep Guardiola’s men controlled the game well in the second half and earned an impressive 2-0 victory on the road.

The Brazilian keeper made one good save in the game and was accurate with his passing. He earned an easy clean sheet at Turf Moor.

He was solid at the back and made a few lively moments down the left flank.

The Belgian international gave Man City the lead in the fifth minute and orchestrated a handful of inviting chances for his teammates up top.

The Spaniard anchored the midfield with conviction and was a threat going forward as well.

The German talent was a constant threat in the final third and was responsible for doubling Man City’s lead midway through the first half.

Sterling caused a lot of problems for the Burnley defenders and has got two assists to show for his efforts.

He had a few bright moments in the game but didn’t do enough to register a goal today.

Grealish managed to create a couple of decent chances for others around him but didn’t get too many sniffs at goal.
