Barcelona will entertain Sevilla at the Nou Camp on Sunday night as they try to maintain their good form by picking up a win at home. The Catalan giants managed to secure a dominant 4-0 victory over Real Madrid before the international break which will give them a lot of momentum ahead of this game.
Xavi will stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and could keep changes to a minimum. However, the Spanish head coach is still expected to name a strong team for this clash.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Sevilla
Defence
Marc-André ter Stegen will keep his place in between the sticks for the Catalans after securing a clean sheet in his last league outing. Eric Garcia and Gerard Pique will operate as the centre-backs as they focus on earning another shutout in La Liga this weekend.
Ronald Araujo will be a nailed-on starter at right-back following his goal-scoring display versus Los Blancos. Jordi Alba could get another shot to impress as the left-back.
Dani Alves might have to settle for a place on the bench as he provides cover for the right-back spot.
Midfield
Pedri, Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong will be eager to impress at the centre of the park. All three of them will need to dominate possession in midfield and create enough clear-cut chances to win this game.
Nico Gonzalez will be named on the bench and might come on to feature in the latter stages if required.
Attack
Ferran Torres will feature as a winger on the left flank while Ousmane Dembele hopes to impress as the right-sided wide player. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will lead the line for the Catalan club down the middle. The Gabon international scored a brace in his last league appearance which will keep him in high spirits ahead of this weekend’s clash at the Nou Camp.
Ansu Fati won’t be available for selection due to a hamstring injury. However, Adama Traore and Memphis Depay will be named on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to influence the game in the final quarter of the match if Barca are in need of a goal by then.
