Tottenham Hotspur Vs Everton Preview: Talking Tactics, Predicted Lineups, Team News, Streaming Sites

Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to maintain their bid for the top four as they take on Everton on Monday. It is a vital game for the Lilywhites, who have appeared quite inconsistent lately under Antonio Conte. After securing a shock win over Manchester City, the Londoners have lost to Burnley and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Middlesbrough, making this a must-win encounter for the home side.

However, Everton certainly won’t make things easier, as they have nothing to lose following a run of just one win in their last six league matches. They were quite unfortunate to drop points against Manchester City, but after a midweek win over Boreham Wood in the FA Cup, the Toffees are aiming to bounce back to form this weekend.

Talking Tactics

Tottenham

Despite the poor run of results, Antonio Conte is unlikely to shift away from his tried and tested 3-4-2-1 setup, with Harry Kane spearheading the frontline, in a free-flowing attacking formation. The wing-backs, as usual, remain key outlets out wide, especially when it comes to providing width to the table.

Everton

Tactically, Frank Lampard is expected to line up with a 4-3-3, with an emphasis on attack. Donny van de Beek is likely to be given the nod to make forays into the final third and operate as an auxiliary number ten.

Team News

Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be boosted by the return of both Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Moura heading into this game. But coach Conte may have to cope without Oliver Skipp once again, as the Italian could also make one or two alterations from the side that faced Middlesbrough.

Everton

Lampard is missing two key defenders in Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina, while the Toffees are also sweating on the fitness of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Andre Gomes and new signing Vitaliy Mykolenko, who was dealing with a dead leg.

Predicted Lineup

Tottenham: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Kulusevski, Son; Kane

Everton: Pickford; Coleman, Holgate, Keane, Kenny; Doucoure, Allan, van de Beek; Gordon, Richarlison, Iwobi

Prediction

Tottenham 1-1 Everton
