Real Madrid welcomed Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on securing all three points at home. Los Blancos made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the tenth minute when Mikel Oyarzabal scored from the penalty spot after the visitors were awarded a spot-kick. However, Eduardo Camavinga equalised for the Madrid giants with a sublime strike in the 40th minute. Just three minutes later, Luka Modric completed the turnaround as he scored with a great effort. The home side went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Karim Benzema put daylight between the two sides in the 76th minute when he successfully converted from the penalty spot. Marco Asensio killed the game off just three minutes later with a good finish. Los Blancos ended up winning the contest by a 4-1 scoreline which consolidated their position at the top of the La Liga table.
