Dallas Gets 7, Ayling With 6.5 | Leeds United Players Rated In Poor Loss Vs Aston Villa

Leeds United welcomed Aston Villa at Elland Road earlier tonight as they hoped to grind out a result at home. The Whites made a solid start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 22nd minute when Philippe Coutinho scored with a deflected attempt. The Yorkshire giants struggled to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Matty Cash doubled his side’s lead in the 65th minute with a powerful finish. Just eight minutes later, Calum Chambers found the back of the net for the Villans with a sublime strike. The contest ended with the Whites suffering a 3-0 loss in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player performed during the clash against the Villans.

GK: Illan Meslier – 6.5/10

He made a lot of important saves to keep the scoreline respectable. However, he won’t be happy after allowing three goals during the 90 minutes.

RB: Stuart Dallas – 7/10

Dallas was strong in the air and made some decent runs with the ball down the right flank. He even did his fair share of defending.

CB: Luke Ayling – 6.5/10

He was too slow to react to the danger at times but made two good runs from the back.

CB: Pascal Struijk – 6/10

Struijk had a tough game when defending inside his half. However, he made a few crucial clearances on the defensive end of the field.
