West Ham United will lock horns with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening, hoping to pick up all three points away from home. The Hammers will be coming into the match on the back of an encouraging 2-0 win against Sevilla in the second leg of the round of sixteen of the UEFA Europa League, whereas the Lilywhites recorded a tidy 2-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Team News

Ryan Sessegnon (muscle) remains as a major doubt ahead of the weekend clash, whereas Oliver Skipp (groin) and Japhet Tanganga (knee) remain sidelined for the upcoming fixture.

Antonio Conte will probably opt for the 4-3-3 formation; however, he might keep changes to a minimum.

Defence

Hugo Lloris will operate between the sticks for the upcoming fixture. The France shot-stopper will hope to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Sunday.

Midfield

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg might start in the holding midfield position and could be assigned with more of a defensive role to shield the home side’s back-four.

Rodrigo Bentancur will slot into the central midfield role, determined to set up some clear-cut goal scoring chances for the front men.

Attack

Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski will take up the wide positions, playing on the left and right-wing, respectively.

Harry Kane will lead the line for Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. The England international will be hoping to get his name on the scoresheet when he faces off against the Irons’ defence that has conceded six goals in their last five matches across all competitions.

Lucas Moura could come off the bench to make a cameo appearance in the second forty-five minutes of the match if needed.
