In a recent report, The Sun stated that Aston Villa are among clubs hoping to land Paul Pogba from Manchester United. It has been mentioned that the Villans could face competition in the form of Newcastle United, Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in pursuit of the France international.
Pogba’s Decent Form In English Football This Season
Pogba has endured a tough campaign with the Red Devils as he has missed a lot of games due to a hamstring injury. Still, the 29-year-old deserves a lot of credit for scoring one goal and grabbed nine assists in 23 matches for Man United this season in all competitions.
The Frenchman has been a consistent performer at the centre of the park based on his average 1.9 shots, 1.5 key passes and 1.9 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He has even been accurate when distributing possession from midfield, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 82.5% in the top tier of English football (stats via whoscored).

Is Pogba A Dream Signing For Pogba This Summer?
Pogba is a solid tackler of the ball and can clear the danger when the opposition are on the front foot. More importantly, he can strike the ball with power and accuracy from long range and can even create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.
The France international can even make some intelligent runs with the ball going forward. He is a tidy passer of the ball as well which makes him a dream signing for the Villans to pursue this summer.
