Real Madrid will face off against Mallorca at the Visit Mallorca Stadium on Monday night as they look to pick up all three points on the road. Los Blancos managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in midweek which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this league clash.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a few changes to his starting XI for this game. Casemiro, Federico Valverde and Ferland Mendy are all expected to play from the start as the Madrid boss looks to fresh up his first-team with one eye on the upcoming Clasico versus Barcelona later this month.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Mallorca
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will operate in goal for Los Blancos after he shipped in one goal versus PSG in midweek. Eder Militao will function alongside David Alaba at the centre of Real Madrid’s backline as they focus on stopping the Mallorca attackers from scoring during the 90 minutes.
Ferland Mendy will fill in as the left-back while Dani Carvajal hopes to impress on the other side as the right-back. Ancelotti will ask both his full-backs to be adventurous in the opposition half so that they can offer decent support to the front players.
Nacho will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Eduardo Camavinga, Casemiro and Federico Valverde will make up Ancelotti’s midfield. Their main job would be to dominate possession at the centre of the park and fashion some inviting opportunities in the attacking end of the field.
Toni Kroos and Luka Modric will be rested on the bench but might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Vinicius Junior will try to put his pace to good use down the left flank while Rodrygo gets a chance to catch the eye from the right.
Real Madrid’s midweek hero, Karim Benzema will definitely lead the charge for Los Blancos down the middle after scoring a hattrick versus PSG which was enough for his team to secure qualification into the quarterfinal stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz will be available for selection on the bench.
