Liverpool came back from behind to win 3-1 against Norwich in a tough encounter at Anfield. The Reds failed to break the deadlock in the first half as they missed a couple of golden chance to go ahead. Norwich took the lead very early in the 2nd half with a deflection off Milot Rashica’s shot on goal. Liverpool upped the ante in search of a equalizer which finally came from a brilliant Sadio Mane finish in the 64th minute. Salah then scored his 150th goal in Liverpool colours to put the Reds ahead on the day with a calm finish. New signing Luis Diaz then wrapped up the game in the 81st minute as Liverpool move within 6 points off Manchester City before the latter play Spurs today.

The Brazilian goalkeeper didn’t have to make a save the whole time but had to react on a couple of occasions to act as a sweeper keeper. He dominated the 6 yard box which the Norwich players crowded during the corners. The highlight of the game came from his pass which Salah converted to put Liverpool ahead on the day.
Joe Gomez: 7
Joe Gomez with a Premier League start after a long time looked solid defensively and was also very calm on the ball when going forward.
Joel Matip: 7
Matip won a lot of aerial duels in the defensive third. He was unlucky for the cruel deflection it took off him from Rashica’s shot which gave Norwich the lead.
Virgil van Dijk: 8
The Dutchman was faultless throughout the game as he saw all the danger out from the Norwich attackers.
Konstantinos Tsimikas: 8.5
The Greek left-back looked lively on that left hand side of the pitch. He received a lot of balls in key areas and put in some dangerous crosses in the box. His headed assist to Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the key equalizer.
