Real Madrid entertained Deportivo Alaves at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier today as they looked to pick up a victory at home. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game but failed to break the opposition defence down in the first half.
Marco Asensio finally broke the deadlock for the Madrid giants in the 63rd minute with an excellent finish. Vinicius Junior doubled his team’s advantage in the 80th minute. Karim Benzema put the icing on the cake as he scored a penalty in injury-time which have Los Blancos a comfortable 3-0 win at the Spanish capital.

He got stuck in with a few tackles and fashioned two good chances in the final third.

Casemiro dominated the game in midfield and was quite inventive with his ball distribution.
CM: Luka Modric – 7/10
He caused a few problems for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him tonight.
RW: Marco Asensio – 8/10
The Spaniard created a lot of headaches for the opposition and opened the goal-scoring with a brilliant strike.
ST: Karim Benzema – 8.5/10
The French striker was a constant menace in the opponent’s half and has got a goal and two assists to show for his efforts.

He made some dangerous runs with the ball and scored his team’s second goal which ensured the positive result for Los Blancos.
