Mane has experienced an up and down campaign at Anfield but has still managed to put in a handful of impressive displays on the left side of Liverpool’s attack. The 29-year-old has registered 11 goals and secured one assist in 29 matches for the Reds this season across multiple competitions.
The Senegalese speedster has performed well to average 3.1 shots, 1.1 key passes and 1.6 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League. Mane has still got electric pace under his belt and can make some driving runs with the ball down the left flank. He is proficient at beating his marker when left isolated in the 1v1 situation and can drive to the byline to whip in some inviting crosses towards the opposition penalty box.
The 86-time Senegal international packs a lot of power with his shot attempts and can be a streaky goal-getter in front of the opponent’s goal. He is primarily a left-sided wide player but can even function as a centre-forward or down the right-wing if needed.
A winger of Mane’s skillset and quality will undoubtedly be a massive coup for Los Blancos as they look to add more firepower to their attack this summer. However, he could disrupt Vinicius Junior’s progress at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
