In a recent report, Calciomercato mentioned that Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Villarreal defender Juan Foyth. It is understood that Los Blancos have identified the Argentine centre-back as a target for the summer transfer window.

Foyth has enjoyed a solid season with the Yellow Submarine after putting in several impressive displays for them on the defensive end of the pitch. The 24-year-old has made 25 appearances for Villarreal during this campaign, picking up four yellow cards and one red card in multiple competitions.
The La Plata-born sensation has been a rock at the back for Unai Emery’s side as he is averaging 5.6 tackles, 1.6 interceptions and 2.6 clearances per game in the UEFA Champions League. Foyth is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back inside his half. He usually clears the danger when required and is also proficient at playing his way out from the back.
Standing at 1.87m, the Argentine talent can use his strong frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air.
