Messi And Wijnaldum To Start | 4-3-3 Paris Saint-Germain Predicted Lineup Vs Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain will entertain Real Madrid at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night as they try to earn a positive result at home. The French giants managed to grind out a 1-0 win over Rennes earlier this month which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.

Mauricio Pochettino could opt for a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name his strongest XI for this game. Both Lionel Messi and Georginio Wijnaldum could play from the start as PSG looks to get the better of the Madrid giants in midweek.

Defence

Keylor Navas will feature in goal for the Parisian giants after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Presnel Kimpembe will once again partner Marquinhos at the centre of the PSG backline as they try to stop Los Blancos from scoring during the 90 minutes.

Achraf Hakimi will function at right-back while Nuno Mendes looks to give a good account of himself as the left-back. Both of them will need to defend well if the home team are to come out on top in this European clash.

Midfield

Georginio Wijnaldum, Leandro Paredes and Marco Verratti could make up Pochettino’s midfield as they try to establish their dominance at the centre of the park.

Paredes has to figure out a way to offer decent protection for his teammates at the back, especially when Real Madrid are trying to break on the counter.

Attack

Kylian Mbappe will get a chance to shine as the left-sided wide player while Lionel Messi hopes to make a difference on the right.

Mauro Icardi will probably get the nod to spearhead Pochettino’s attack in the final third. He will be expected to cause a few problems for Carlo Ancelotti’s defenders during the 90 minutes.

Angel Di Maria will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the second half if PSG are in need of a goal by then.
