Manchester City faced off against Norwich City at Carrow Road earlier this evening as they looked to earn a victory and stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League table. Man City were dominant in the first half and took the lead in the 31st minute courtesy of Raheem Sterling’s excellent finish. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time interval with a narrow 1-0 lead.
Phil Foden doubled his team’s advantage in the 48th minute before Sterling scored twice and went on to complete his hat-trick in the final 20 minutes of the clash. The contest ended with Man City coming away with a dominant 4-0 win from Carrow Road.

The Brazilian custodian made a few important saves at the back and secured an impressive clean sheet away from home.
RB: Kyle Walker – 7/10
He was solid at the back and made two good opportunities in the final third.
CB: Ruben Dias – 7.5/10
Dias cleared his lines when required and made one key chance going forward. He will be happy with the clean sheet today.
CB: Nathan Ake – 7.5/10
The Dutch centre-back was a solid presence on the defensive end of the field and engineered two key chances in the opponent’s half.
LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 7/10
He performed his defensive duties well and fashioned a couple of decent chances in the final third.
CM: Bernardo Silva – 7.5/10
Silva made two good runs with the ball and engineered some meaningful openings for others around him. He was unfortunate not to score today.
CM: Fernandinho – 7/10
He made a few decent runs with the ball and was quite lively in the Norwich half.
CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 7.5/10
Gundogan earned possession back a couple of times and was always willing to offer support to his teammates up top.
RW: Riyad Mahrez – 7.5/10
He caused all kinds of problems for the opposition because of his link-up play and dribbling. However, Mahrez failed to find the back of the net.
ST: Phil Foden – 8/10
The English talent made a few excellent runs with the ball and ended the game with a goal to his name.
LW: Raheem Sterling – 9/10
The English striker opened the goal-scoring with an excellent strike. He went on to score two more goals in the final quarter of the game to cap off a fine away win for Man City.

The talented youngster got some valuable minutes under his belt.

He earned a penalty which Sterling initially missed but scored later from the follow-up.
