Leeds United welcomed Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road earlier this afternoon as they hoped to bounce back by grinding out a result in front of their home fans. The Whites made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the tenth minute when Matt Doherty scored from close range. Dejan Kulusevski doubled Spurs’ lead just five minutes later when he found the back of the net with an excellent strike. Harry Kane put daylight between the two sides with an excellent volley in the 27th minute as Marcelo Bielsa’s men went into the half-time trailing by a 3-0 scoreline.
The home team struggled to come up with any real response in the second half and let in another goal in the 85th minute when Heung-min Son scored with a composed finish. The contest ended with Leeds crashing to a 4-0 defeat at home.

GK: Illan Meslier – 7/10
The Whites keeper made a number of solid saves during the game. However, he still ended up shipping in four goals today.
RB: Luke Ayling – 5.5/10
He got stuck in with some crunching tackles but produced an underwhelming display at right-back.
CB: Diego Llorente – 5.5/10
The Spaniard earned the ball back a couple of times and was tidy with his passing. However, he won’t be happy after allowing four goals throughout the 90 minutes.
CB: Pascal Struijk – 6/10
He made a couple of important defensive contributions in the first half. Struijk got replaced at half-time.
LB: Junior Firpo – 6/10
Firpo looked shaky at the back at times but was lively going forward.
CDM: Robin Koch – 6.5/10
Koch made a few crucial interceptions in midfield and went close to finding the back of the net.
RW: Raphinha – 6.5/10
The Brazilian winger created a lot of decent chances for his teammates to score. However, there was no goal for him today.
CM: Stuart Dallas – 6.5/10
Dallas was always looking to get forward and make things happen. He was also not shy of having a shot at goal.
CM: Adam Forshaw – 6/10
He got stuck in with some solid tackles but failed to influence the game in the final third.
LW: Jack Harrison – 6/10
Harrison struggle to get into the rhythm of the game and was substituted at half-time.
ST: Daniel James – 5.5/10
The former Manchester United talent hardly had a sniff at goal and produced an underwhelming display up top.
