Dybala’s Good Run Of Form At The Allianz Stadium
Dybala is having a productive campaign in Italian football and has been responsible for producing a series of influential displays for Juve in the final third. The 28-year-old has banged in 12 goals and provided six assists in 26 matches for the Italian outfit this season across all competitions.
The Laguna Larga-born forward has done well to average 3.7 shots, 1.6 key passes and 1.8 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A. He has even been excellent when distributing possession in the final third after making 85.1% of his attempted passes in the Italian top tier (stats via whoscored).
Should Barcelona Get Dybala On Board This Summer?
Dybala has got the knack to create a yard of space for himself to get a few shots in at goal. He is a tidy finisher in the final third and can fashion some meaningful openings for his teammates up top.
The Argentine sensation is currently playing at a high level in the attacking end of the field. He is primarily a striker but can also fill in as a winger if needed. Hence, Barca should think about signing him when he becomes a free agent at the end of this campaign as he will add a lot of firepower to their attack.
At 28, Dybala has still got plenty of football left in him and is well-equipped to make an instant impact at the Nou Camp if Xavi can devise a way to secure his services in the summer.
Dybala will undoubtedly enhance the quality of Barcelona’s starting XI and could help them get back to challenging for major trophies once again in the coming seasons. Thus, Xavi would be wise to get the Argentine talent on board later this year.
