Arsenal faced off against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on earning a positive result on their travels. The Gunners were solid in the first half and got their noses ahead in the 25th minute when Gabriel found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta’s men protected their lead well and went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Gabriel Martinelli was sent off in the 69th minute but Arsenal stood strong and secured a narrow 1-0 win away at the West Midlands.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 7.5/10
Ramsdale made a few solid saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet on the road.
RB: Cedric Soares – 7/10
He got stuck in with a handful of solid tackles when needed and did enough work defensively to keep his clean sheet intact.
CB: Ben White – 7.5/10
White cleared the danger when needed and will be happy with the shutout tonight.
CB: Gabriel – 8/10
He dealt with mostly everything that the Wolves attackers threw at him and scored the only goal of the game.
LB: Kieran Tierney – 6.5/10
The Scottish full-back performed his defensive duties well but offered very little in the final third.
CM: Thomas Partey – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and managed to offer decent protection for his teammates at the back.
CM: Granit Xhaka – 6.5/10
Xhaka made some crucial clearances but lacked creativity with his passing.
RW: Bukayo Saka – 7/10
Saka made a couple of decent chances for his teammates and completed two good dribbles with the ball.
CAM: Martin Odegaard – 6.5/10
He had a few lively moments in the final third but didn’t get a sniff at goal.
LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 5/10
The youngster was quiet in the first half and let his teammates down by getting sent off in the 69th minute.
ST: Alexandre Lacazette – 7/10
The French striker was a constant menace in the attacking end of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
Substitutes:
RW: Emile Smith Rowe – 6/10
He added some energy to Mikel Arteta’s midfield.
CB: Rob Holding – 7/10
The talented centre-half made plenty of important clearances at the back and did well to see out the three points with the clean sheet intact.
ST: Eddie Nketiah – 6/10
Nketiah offered very little after coming off the bench.
