Gravenberch’s Impressive Form At The Johan Cruijff Arena
The 19-year-old is having a solid campaign for Ajax after producing a string of dominant displays for them at the centre of the park. Gravenberch has registered one goal and three assists in 25 matches for the Dutch outfit this season on all fronts.
The Amsterdam-born talent has proven his worth as a valuable contributor at the heart of Erik ten Hag’s midfield by averaging 1.7 tackles, 0.7 interceptions, 0.7 clearances, 1.7 shots, 1.1 key passes and 2.4 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Dutch Eredivisie. Is Gravenberch The Right Choice For Real Madrid?
Gravenberch is a solid tackler of the ball and can sense the danger quickly to secure possession back for his side. He doesn’t shy away from having a strike at goal when afforded time and space by the opposition. The Dutch sensation has even got the vision to create some decent plays for others around him. He can also make some intelligent runs towards the opponent’s penalty area.
An up-and-coming midfielder of Gravenberch’s potential will be an excellent acquisition for Los Blancos if Carlo Ancelotti can devise a way to bring him to the Spanish capital at the end of this season. His current contract with Ajax is set to end in the summer of 2023.
