West Ham United clash heads with the league leaders Chelsea in Saturday’s Premier League early kick-off at the London stadium. With no wins in the last 3 league games, the Hammers looks to have fallen off the track and will be desperate to get back to winning ways on Saturday. West Ham are still in 4th place fighting for a Champions League spot due to their spectacular start to the season. The London teams are although not far behind and any points further dropped will see them out of the top 4 in the league table.
Chelsea, on the other hand, edged out a narrow victory over Watford in the midweek following a draw vs Manchester United at home which saw their lead cut out to only 1 point at the top. David Moyes is expected to go with a 4-2-3-1 formation with the likes of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek sitting in the middle of the park and dictating the game. The physicality of the midfield pair will be key to the Hammers success. The front line of Bowen, Benrahma and Antonio will be looking to use their pace and get behind the solid Chelsea defence.
Thomas Tuchel will stick to his 3-4-2-1 system with the 2 attacking midfielders dropping deep to create space for the wing-backs. Chelsea will need to be patient and work their way through the West Ham defence which is expected to sit deep most of the time. Romelu Lukaku is expected to start this weekend and Tuchel will be hoping to get back the services of Reece James.

The Hammers will be without Angelo Ogbonna who is set to miss out on a length spell due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Aaron Cresswell is also out for this clash with a back injury. David Moyes is otherwise expected to have all others fit to choose from on Saturday.
Chelsea
The Blues will be missing quite a few players this weekend. The likes of Ben Chilwell, Travoh Chalobah, Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante are all set to miss the tie due to injuries. Chalobah is the latest Chelsea player to go into the injury books with a hamstring injury. Tuchel will be hoping for the return of Reece James and Jorginho on Saturday as they missed the trip to Watford.
