Manchester City Vs Leeds United Tactical Preview: Team News, Key Men And Streaming Links

Manchester City will welcome Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night as both teams look to go all out in search of the three points. The Mancunian outfit managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend. In contrast, the West Yorkshire club suffered a hard-fought 3-2 defeat away at Chelsea which has drained their confidence ahead of this midweek contest.

Talking Tactics

Pep Guardiola will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could ask his players to dominate possession at the centre of the park and create enough chances for the Mancunian giants to win this home encounter versus the Whites.

Marcelo Bielsa will set his team up in a 4-1-4-1 formation and might instruct his men to stay in the game for as long as possible and try to expose Man City’s defensive weaknesses using the pace of Raphinha and Daniel James on the counter.

Key Men

Manchester City

Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden will have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for Pep Guardiola’s side up top. Bernardo Silva has been Man City’s best player this season, so he will be expected to make a difference at the centre of Man City’s midfield.

Leeds United

Raphinha will be Leeds’ best hope for a goal in midweek. The defensive performance of Luke Ayling and Diego Llorente could very well end up determining the fate of this contest.
