Barcelona entertained Elche at the Nou Camp earlier today as they looked to collect all three points at home. The Catalans made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 16th minute courtesy of Ferran Jutlgà’s excellent header. Gavi doubled Barca’s advantage just three minutes later when he found the back of the net from the edge of the Elche penalty box. The home team went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.
The visitors scored two quick-fire goals after the hour mark as both Tete Morente and Pere Milla got their names on the scoresheet. However, Nico Gonzalez went on to score the winning goal for Barca in the 85th minute as the contest ended 3-2 in favour of Xavi’s men.
Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the clash against Elche.
