West Ham United will entertain Southampton at the London Stadium this Sunday evening as they try to secure a positive result at home. The Hammers suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of their London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup earlier this week, so they will be eager to get back to winning ways in domestic football.
David Moyes will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and is expected to make a lot of changes to his side for this game. However, the Hammers boss will be sweating on the availability of Michail Antonio, who has tested positive with Covid-19.

Defence
Łukasz Fabiański will feature in between the sticks for the East London club after getting a rest in midweek. Issa Diop will once again partner up with Craig Dawson at the centre of the West Ham backline as they try to keep the Saints attackers at bay this weekend.
Vladimír Coufal will return from suspension and operate at right-back while Aaron Cresswell, who is a significant concern ahead of this game, fills in on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will be given the license to get forward and express themselves in the Southampton half.
Ben Johnson and Arthur Masuaku will offer cover for the full-back positions on Moyes’ bench.

Midfield
Declan Rice will link up with Tomas Soucek in the holding midfield positions as they try to dominate the game at the centre of the park. The gifted trio of Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma and Andriy Yarmolenko could feature just ahead of them as part of the West Ham attack.
Both Fornals and Benrahma will carry most of the creative workload for the Hammers in the final third. Manuel Lanzini and Mark Noble will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Michail Antonio is unlikely to be risked in this match, so Jarrod Bowen will probably get the nod to lead the line for the London club up top. The English striker registered a goal versus Tottenham in midweek, so he will be full of confidence ahead of this weekend’s clash versus the Saints.
