In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen is on Liverpool’s radar. It is understood that the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is eyeing a move for the in-form Hammers star during the January transfer window.
Bowen’s Impressive Numbers At The London Stadium This Season
The 24-year-old has made an outstanding start to this campaign as he has been responsible for putting in a series of productive displays as an influential member of David Moyes’ attack. Bowen has banged in three goals and secured five assists in 17 matches for West Ham this season on all fronts.
The Leominster-born talent has been a consistent performer for the Hammers in the final third based on his average of 2.5 shots, 1.7 key passes, 1.4 crosses and 2.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in Premier League football. He has even distributed the ball relatively well after making 77.9% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via whoscored).
Can West Ham United Boss David Moyes Afford To Lose Bowen In January?
Bowen is a gifted winger who can use his pace and agility to make some eye-catching runs with the ball out on the wide areas. He is a decent crosser of the ball and can orchestrate some inviting openings for his teammates up top. Bowen is primarily a right-sided winger but can even play down the left flank or as a makeshift centre-forward up top if needed.
The English wing wizard has even added a few goals to his game which has made him a real fan-favourite at the London Stadium. Hence, it is no surprise that an elite club like Liverpool are showing interest in acquiring his services this winter.
Currently, Bowen is one of the first names in Moyes’ teamsheet because of his consistency at the highest level. If the former Hull City wide player can keep his good form going after the international break, he would become an irreplaceable asset for West Ham. Thus, Moyes simply cannot afford to let Bowen leave unless he receives an inflated offer for his services when the transfer window commences at the start of next year.
