West Ham United ended Liverpool’s 25 game unbeaten run in all competitions as they beat the Reds 3-2 on the night in the London Stadium. The home side went ahead as early as the 4th minute of the game when Alisson conceded an own goal off his gloves trying to catch the ball from a corner. Liverpool levelled the scoreline before half-time with Trent’s superb freekick but West Ham came back stronger in the 2nd half to clinch all 3 points against the team who were unbeaten in the league until today.

The Egyptian was well contained by the West Ham defenders as they didn’t give him any space to work with.

Mane was not clinical enough and missed a sitter in the dying minutes on a difficult night for him.

The forward was dealt well by the West Ham defenders as aerially they outjumped him on every occasion.
