Leicester City will lock horns with Chelsea at the King Power Stadium on Sunday night, hoping to win their home turf. The Blues will be heading into the contest on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw to Burnley, whereas the hosts recorded a similar 1-1 draw with Leeds United on November 7.
The visitors will probably opt for a 5-3-2 formation; however, Brendan Rodgers might keep changes to a minimum for the upcoming home encounter.
4-3-3 Leicester City Predicted Lineup Vs Chelsea
Defence
Kasper Schmeichel is expected to start in goal for the Foxes. The Danish shot-stopper would be hoping to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers could choose to field a back-four consisting of Timothy Castagne, Caglar Soyuncu, Jonny Evans, and Ricardo Pereira as they look to keep things solid at the back on Saturday.
However, their prime objective will be to keep Romelu Lukaku and Mason Mount quiet throughout the ninety minutes.
Midfield
Boubakary Soumare will partner with Wilfred Ndidi at the centre of the park; however, they might be assigned very different roles. The latter should take up a more defensive position, shielding the back four, whereas the former will stay central, dictating play with his ball distribution.
James Maddison will start in the attacking midfield role. The England international would be determined to set up some clear-cut goal scoring chances for the front men.
Daniel Amartey will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on in the latter stages of the game if needed.
Attack
Harvey Barnes and Ademola Lookman will take up the wide positions, looking to create menace for the Chelsea defenders down the left and right flank, respectively.
Jamie Vardy will lead the charge for the Foxes down the middle. The English striker will fancy his chances of finding the back of the net when he faces off against the Chelsea defence that has kept three clean sheets in their last five league matches.
