The Artigas-born sensation has proven himself to be a valuable contributor based on his average of 2.1 shots, 0.7 key passes and 1.3 dribbles per game in the Liga Bwin and the UEFA Champions League. What Will Nunez Add To Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti’s Team?
Nunez is a quick and agile forward who can complete some intelligent dribbles in the opposition half. He excels at generating a yard of space for himself to get a few shots in on-target. More importantly, the Uruguayan forward is a decent finisher in front of the opponent’s goal but needs to be more accurate when passing the ball in the attacking end of the pitch.
A striker of Nunez’s skillset and potential will be an exciting addition to Los Blancos‘ squad as he will offer some decent cover for Karim Benzema. He could also be an upgrade over Luka Jovic, who has struggled to prove his worth at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium thus far.
