Everton will lock horns with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening, hoping to pick up all three points on their home turf. The Toffees will be coming into the match on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers, whereas Antonio Conte’s men recorded a narrow 3-2 win over Vitesse in midweek.
Antonio Conte will probably opt for the 4-3-3 formation with a couple of tweaks from the last game. Tanguy Ndombele might get the nod over Oliver Skipp in midfield, whereas Giovani Lo Celso looks likely to make his way back into the starting eleven.
3-4-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Everton
Defence
Hugo Lloris will operate in between the sticks for the upcoming clash. The France shot-stopper will be hoping to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Sunday.
Christian Romero will form the centre-half partnership with Eric Dier and Ben Davies at the heart of Spurs’ backline.
Midfield
Sergio Reguilon is a guaranteed starter at the left wing-back position, whereas Emerson Royal will fill in on the other flank as the right wing-back. The full-backs will be expected to stay compact and keep their shape defensively.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg might start in the holding midfield position and could be assigned with more of a defensive role to shield the away side’s back-four. Tanguy Ndombele will slot into the central midfield role. The duo would be determined to set up some clear cut goal scoring chances for the front men.
Dele Alli will have to settle for a place on the bench, but he could come on to make a cameo appearance in the second half.
Attack
Son Heung-min and Giovani Lo Celso will take up the wide positions, playing on the left and right-wing respectively.
Harry Kane will lead the line for Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. The England international will be hoping to get his name on the scoresheet when he faces off against the Everton defence that has conceded eight goals in their last three league games.
