Manchester United faced off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to grind out a result on their travels in the Premier League. The Red Devils fought tooth and nail in the first half but went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Jadon Sancho gave Man United a surprise lead in the 50th minute when he pounced on a mistake by Jorginho. However, the Blues netted the equaliser just 19 minutes later via Jorginho’s penalty after Aaron Wan-Bissaka caught Thiago Silva with an outstretched leg. Both teams canceled each other out in the remainder of the game as it finished 1-1 with the Red Devils coming away with a hard-fought point from West London.
