The 24-year-old has begun this campaign in a positive fashion as he produced a series of productive displays on the right side of Leeds’ attack. However, he has missed a lot of games this season as well which has left the Whites hovering above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.
Raphinha has registered five goals in ten matches for the West Yorkshire outfit this season in the Premier League. The Brazilian sensation has proven himself to be a consistent performer down the right-wing based on his average of 1.3 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 3.5 shots, 2.2 key passes, 1.3 crosses and 2.8 dribbles per 90 minutes in the English top-flight. However, he needs to be more accurate with his ball distribution after making 69.5% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via whoscored).

Can Leeds United Afford To Lose Raphinha?
Raphinha can use his pace and agility to make some unstoppable runs with the ball out on the wide areas. He is a terrific dribbler and can make a few clever turns to lose his marker in and around the opponent’s penalty box.
The five-time Brazil international can score goals regularly when he is playing regularly at the highest level. However, he has to figure out a way to improve his link-up play in the final third. At the moment, Raphinha is an irreplaceable member of Marcelo Bielsa‘s first XI. At 24, he is about to embark upon the prime years of his playing career, so the Yorkshire giants can expect to make the most of his talents in the future.
Thus, the Whites simply cannot afford to lose the South American sensation even if a top club like AC Milan ends up making an offer for his services. Bielsa has to find a way to retain Raphinha’s services for the long run as he has what it takes to help Leeds push for a European spot in the coming seasons.
