According to a report by the El Nacional, Jurgen Klopp has asked Liverpool to get the services of Real Sociedad and Sweden striker Alexander Isak in order to bolster his attacking options. Since moving to Spain, Isak has been a consistent performer for both his club and country and it is understood that Jurgen Klopp wants to sign him next summer since he fits like a glove in his team.
Alexander Isak An Undisputable Starter At Real Sociedad
After a stunning 2020-21 season with the Spanish club where he scored 17 goals and made 2 assists, Isak has cemented his place in the Real Sociedad starting XI. He has had a bright start to the new season with the forward being one of the big reasons for Real Sociedad to be the current leaders in La Liga Santander.
Isak already has 5 goals this season and continues to impress at such a young age. His technical ability has caught the eye of many top clubs in Europe. His performances at the Euros were also crucial in top clubs having an eye on him from the start of this season and it remains to be seen if he can maintain his performances consistently. If he does that, it is a no brainer that he will receive lots of offers from the elite outfits in Europe next summer.

Jurgen Klopp hasn’t worked with a proper ‘number 9’ in his spell at Liverpool yet except for Divock Origi. Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota have been a hit for him but it is believed that it is not their ideal position. The Swedish striker is understood to be a perfect fit under Klopp as he is fast, agile and has great technical quality.
With Firmino now into his 30’s, Liverpool must look to replace him with someone like Alexander Isak who is versatile and can fill up for any position in the front three when required. Considering he is just 22 years old, Alexander Isak has a lot of experience at the highest level and is one of his country’s best players. With the qualities he has got under his belt Jurgen Klopp would surely not like to miss out on him if Liverpool can strike a deal with Real Sociedad as early as next summer. 40 million would surely be worth for someone who is expected to become a superstar in the near future.
