Chelsea clashed heads against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium earlier today as they hoped to collect maximum points on their travels. The Blues made a quick start to the game and took the lead in the 14th minute courtesy of Antonio Rudiger’s header. N’Golo Kante doubled the away side’s lead just 14 minutes later when he found the back of the net with a wonderful left-footed strike. Thomas Tuchel’s men went into the half-time break with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
The West London club controlled the game well in the second half and managed to kill the game off in the 71st minute via Christian Pulisic’s tidy finish from close range. The contest ended with the Blues coming away with a 3-0 win from the East Midlands.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the clash against the Foxes.
GK: Edouard Mendy – 7/10
The Blues goalie made a few solid saves during the game and earned an important clean sheet on the road.

Chalobah was strong in the air and made a couple of crucial interceptions at the back. He did enough to restrict the opposition from scoring.
CB: Thiago Silva – 7/10
The Brazilian defensive ace cleared his lines when needed and was quite accurate when passing the ball out from the back.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 8/10
Rudiger gave Chelsea the lead with a brilliant header in the 14th minute. He was a rock at the back as well and performed well enough to secure the shutout.
RM: Reece James – 8/10

Hudson-Odoi caused a few headaches for the Foxes centre-backs but didn’t do enough to get himself a goal.
ST: Kai Havertz – 6/10
Havertz struggled to get into the flow of the game and didn’t get too many sniffs at goal. He got substituted in the 61st minute.
