Tottenham Hotspurs has parted their ways with Nuno Espirito Santos after some series of disappointing results. The London-based club didn’t wait a whole lot of time to announce their next manager, however. Antonio Conte officially joined the North London club on a contract that will keep him here till 2023. The Italian has a glorious history with London though. His stint with Chelsea was a memorable one as he managed to win significant silverware including the Premier League. Over the last decade, he grew his influence in the football world through his successful stints at Chelsea, Juventus, and Inter Milan. His success rate speaks on behalf of him. So, Spurs are getting a manager of instant impact. Let’s take a look at his coaching career over the years.
Early Coaching career in Italy:
Antonio Conte hung up his boots back in 2004 and immediately opted for coaching. However, his start as a coach was not so smooth. He assisted Di Canio in Siena and that helped him shape his ideology as a coach. He started as a head coach back in 2007 in Italian club Bari. He explored a lot of clubs in his struggling period in his motherland such as Atalanta, Arezzo, and Siena. His stint at Siena proved to be a fruitful one for me. He helped them get a promotion to Serie A. And Juventus appointed him as their coach.
Juventus(May 2011 – July 2014):
His return to Turin was already a huge hit among the fans. They were really excited to see their midfield maestro back at the dugout. He delivered Serie A in his debut season. The Old Lady won the league title for the first time since 2003. However, an infamous match-fixing scandal saw his side getting demoted to the second division. The Italian once again retained the Serie A title in his remaining years.

Italy( Aug 2014 – July 2016):
His failure with Juventus in Europe forced him to leave the club. He tried his hand in international football as well. He took charge of the Azzurri’s after his successful Juventus stint. Antonio Conte led them to Euro 2016 qualifications with an unbeaten record in the qualifying rounds. They were very impressive as they topped their group and beat Spain to reach the quarter-finals. But a penalty shoot-out tragedy against Germany forced them out of the competition.
Record: 25 games, 14 wins, 7 draws, 4 losses

Chelsea(July 2016 – July 2018):
A lucrative offer from the Blues saw him leave international football. The Italian surprised the league with his back 3 formations and it suited them quite well. He delivered Premier League and FA Cup with the Blues. He became the third only manager to win a league against Pep Guardiola. However, in his last season missing the place in the Champions League cost him badly.
Record: 106 games, 69 wins, 17 draws, 20 losses
Inter Milan(May 2019 – May 2021)
After a short sabbatical, Conte returned to club football and this time it was motherland once again. Inter Milan appointed him for an instant impact, and he didn’t disappoint. He got very close in his debut season with Juventus who just won the title by 1 point. The next season he didn’t miss though. Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez fired a whole lot of goals as he once again became champions with his famous 3-5-2 formation. After the club’s financial crisis they had to let go of him earlier this season.
