Leeds United will welcome Leicester City at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon as they try to pick up another three points in the Premier League. The Whites managed to earn a 2-1 win over Norwich City last weekend which will give them a lot of confidence ahead of this league clash at home.
Marcelo Bielsa will set his team up in a 3-3-1-3 formation and could make one change to his first-team for this game. Mateusz Klich could get the nod to play from the start at the expense of Jack Harrison who would have to be content with a spot on the bench.
3-3-1-3 Leeds United Predicted Lineup To Face Leicester City
Defence
Illan Meslier will feature in between the sticks for the Whites after he conceded one goal versus the Canaries in his last league appearance. Bielsa could opt for a back three of Diego Llorente, Pascal Struijk and Liam Cooper for this home game as they try to keep things tidy on the defensive end of the field.
Leo Hjelde will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the Leeds United bench.
Midfield
Stuart Dallas, Kalvin Phillips and Jamie Shackleton, who is a slight doubt for this game, could make up the Whites midfield. They will have to gain some control of the battle at the centre of the park so that Leeds can come out on top this weekend.
Mateusz Klich will operate in the number ten position as he assumes the role of creating some inviting chances for the front players in the opposition half. Jack Harrison and Adam Forshaw will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to impress in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Daniel James will play as the left-sided wide player but needs to find some form if he intends to keep playing from the start for the Whites in the coming weeks. Raphinha will be a guaranteed start on the right-wing while Rodrigo spearheads Bielsa’s attack down the middle.
Tyler Roberts will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on in the latter stages of the game if needed.
