Leeds United faced off against Norwich City at Carrow Road earlier today as they looked to collect maximum points on the road. Both sides canceled each other out in the first 45 minutes and went into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.
The Yorkshire giants made a bright start to the second half and scored the opening goal in the 56th minute courtesy of Raphinha’s excellent goal. However, the Canaries equalised just two minutes later via Andrew Omobamidele’s goal. Rodrigo restored Leeds United’s lead at the hour mark as he found the back of the net from long range. The contest ended with the Whites securing a narrow 2-1 victory in the Premier League.

GK: Illan Meslier – 7/10
The Leeds keeper made a couple of good saves but will be disappointed for allowing a second-half goal which extinguished his hopes of a clean sheet.
CB: Diego Llorente – 7.5/10
The Spaniard was an unstoppable force in the air and made numerous important clearances to restrict the opposition to just one goal.
CB: Liam Cooper – 7/10
Cooper was a rock at the back but was a bit sloppy on the ball. He even made a couple of crucial interceptions on the defensive end of the pitch.
CB: Pascal Struijk – 7/10
He was a strong presence in the air and made plenty of solid tackles to hamper the opposition’s flow in the game.

CM: Jamie Shackleton – 6.5/10
He tried his best to protect his backline by getting stuck in with some crunching challenges at the centre of the park. He got replaced in the 70th minute.
CM: Kalvin Phillips – 7/10
Phillips produced a battling display in midfield and managed to engineer a couple of decent chances in the final third. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Stuart Dallas – 7/10
Dallas did his fair share of defending when needed and was also quite lively in the Norwich City half.
RW: Raphinha – 8.5/10
The Brazilian wing wizard was a constant menace in the opposition half and scored a great goal to give Leeds United the lead in the 56th minute.
CAM: Rodrigo – 7.5/10
He had some bright moments in the game and managed to score his team’s second goal which was enough to give them all three points today.
LW: Daniel James – 7/10
James showed some glimpses of what he is capable of in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Jack Harrison – 6.5/10
He performed well to fill in as a makeshift centre-forward but didn’t get too many opportunities to score.

He came on to make his Premier League debut off the bench but was at the receiving end of a yellow card.
CM: Adam Forshaw – 6/10
Forshaw added some energy to Leeds’ midfield.
