Real Madrid faced off against Levante at the Ciutat de Valencia earlier tonight as they hoped to secure another positive result in La Liga. Los Blancos made an excellent start to the game as they took the lead via Gareth Bale’s fifth-minute goal. The Madrid giants kept their noses ahead and went into the half-time break one goal up on the scoreline.
The home side came up with an instant response after the half-time break courtesy of Roger Marti’s goal. Jose Campana completed the turnaround for Levante when he scored with a brilliant volley in the 57th minute. Vinicius Junior came off the bench and found the leveler for Carlo Ancelotti’s side just 16 minutes later.
However, there was even more drama in the final quarter of the game as Rober Pier gave Levante the lead again in the 79th minute. However, it was Vinicius Junior who scored once again just six minutes later to salvage a point for the Madrid outfit. The contest ended with both teams playing out a dramatic 3-3 stalemate in Valencia.
Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the clash against Levante.
GK: Thibaut Courtois – 5/10

RB: Lucas Vazquez – 6/10
Vazquez was solid in the first half but was a bit lackluster in the second. He struggled to influence the game in the final third.
CB: Eder Militao – 6.5/10
Militao made some important interceptions for his team and was not afraid to clear the danger when Levante were on the front foot. However, he won’t be happy after shipping in three goals in the second half.

CM: Isco – 7/10
The Spaniard made some intelligent runs with the ball but ran out of gas and got substituted just before the hour mark.
LW: Eden Hazard – 6/10
Hazard had some bright moments in the final third However, he didn’t do enough to get his name on the scoresheet.
ST: Karim Benzema – 7/10
The French striker never looked like scoring but deserves credit for picking up two assists during the game.
