In a recent tweet, renowned journalist Ekrem Konur mentioned that Chelsea could let Tammy Abraham leave this summer amid interest from Aston Villa. It is understood that the Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is dissatisfied with the English striker and is hoping to cash in on him so that he can fund a move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin which could open the door for the Villans to land him during this summer transfer window.
Tammy Abraham ve Batshuayi’den memnun olmayan Tuchel, Erling Haaland’ın haricinde Dominic Calvert-Lewin’i transfer edilmesini istedi.
Everton ile henüz resmi görüşme olmadı ancak kısa zamanda görüşmelerin başlaması bekleniliyor.

Abraham’s Frustrating Spell Under Thomas Tuchel
Abraham has experienced a disappointing spell at the English capital since Thomas Tuchel’s appointment as Chelsea’s permanent manager at the start of this calendar year. The 23-year-old played in 32 matches for the West London giants last season, netting 12 goals and securing six assists in multiple competitions.
A lot of the London-born striker’s game time came off the bench which explains why he could only average 1.5 shots, 0.4 key passes and 0.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in the previous Premier League campaign. He also needs to find a way to improve his accuracy when distributing the ball after completing 72.7% of his attempted passes in the top tier of English football (stats via whoscored).
Should The Villans Move In For Abraham This Summer?
Abraham can be a consistent goal-getter in top-flight football when he is playing regularly on the field. Standing at 1.90m, he can use his robust frame to win some 50-50 aerial duels for his team. The English sensation is also a good header of the ball and usually packs a lot of power with his shot attempts. However, he has somtimes been guilty of throwing away possession cheaply which could be one of the main reasons why Tuchel has often left him out of his match-day squad.
Abraham is well-equpped to fight with Ollie Watkins for a regular place in Dean Smith’s squad in the coming seasons. He will add a lot of goals and physicality to the Villans frontline and could help them push for a top-half finish in the Premier League next season.
Hence, Smith should think about moving in for Abraham so that he has a strong squad capable of challenge across all fronts over the next few years. At 23, the Chelsea outcast will only get better with each season, so he will be a decent long-term signing for the West Midlands side this summer.
