In a recent report, The Sun revealed that Barcelona are set to rival Tottenham Hotspur for Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne this summer. Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport also reported that the Naples outfit are struggling to tie the Italy international down to a new contract with his current deal set to expire next summer which could open the door for the Catalans to snap him up in this off-season.

Insigne went through another sensational campaign with Napoli after he put in several productive performances on the left side of their attack. The 30-year-old found the back of the net on 19 occasions and secured 11 assists in 48 matches for the Italian club last season in various competitions.
The Frattamaggiore-born sensation was a consistent performer for his current employers down the left-wing as he averaged 4.1 shots, 1.8 key passes and 1.9 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A.
