In a recent report, La Razon stated that Atletico Madrid are willing to sell Saul Niguez to Liverpool this summer. It is believed that the Reds have identified the Spanish midfield ace as an ideal replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who decided to join Paris Saint-Germain recently (via La Razon).

Saul experienced another successful season with the Madrid giants after he produced a run of consistent displays at the heart of Diego Simeone’s midfield. The 26-year-old participated in 41 matches for the Spanish outfit in the previous campaign, scoring two goals and grabbing one assist on all fronts.
The Spanish midfield ace did a bit of everything at the centre of the park as he averaged 1.7 tackles, 0.8 interceptions, 1.0 clearances, 1.0 shots, 0.6 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
