Muller, Goretkza And Gosens Anonymous | Germany Players Rated In Defeat To England

England break their curse against Germany securing a truly iconic 2-0 victory at Wembley to book tickets to the quarter-finals of UEFA Euro 2020. Made a solid save from Sterling’s effort in the first half, but struggled in keeping out any of the two England goals after half-time.

A poor display from Matthias Ginter who looked shaky on multiple occasions. Not a good fit for the right centre-back position for Germany.

Mats Hummels was Germany’s best defender, but he wasn’t helped by his teammates. Didn’t provide much in the build-up play, though.

Antonio Rudiger was not particularly bad, but he struggled to offer the leadership required during the final stages of the game.

Joshua Kimmich 6/10
