Leeds United have been spot on with their recruitment since securing a Premier League return and according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Whites have now registered interest in Ajax winger Noa Lang. The youngster spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Club Brugge and his presence in the attacking third was crucial en route to their league triumph maintaining sheer supremacy all throughout.
Leeds are interested in signing Noa Lang from Club Brugge – the Belgian club will try to keep him offering a new contract but Leeds want to open talks. ⚪️?? #LUFC #Leeds
Also, Marcelo Bielsa is expected to sign his new contract with Leeds soon. ??

With 14 goals and 8 assists in 24 games, the 21-year-old Dutch youth international depicted his mastery down the left-hand flank. Club Brugge’s €6 million obligation-to-buy agreement (to be concluded by July 1) with Ajax seems to be an absolute bargain and the Belgians are reportedly (Dutch publication GVA (via LeedsLive)) seeking a fee of around €25m from his potential suitors.
Leeds have ample wide attacking options in their ranks. Ian Poveda and Helder Costa are there to challenge and cover Raphinha and Jack Harrison. Raphinha is arguably their signing of the season, whereas Harrison is set to be roped in on permanent terms (from Manchester City) following yet another successful loan stint at Elland Road.
Why Leeds Must Push For The Transfer
Having said that, the Whites must be sweating over Raphinha’s future amid links with Liverpool and both the Manchester clubs. Although the Brazilian is enjoying his time in West Yorkshire, Leeds would struggle to keep hold of him next year if this run of form continues during the upcoming term.
Lang, meanwhile, is most suited as an inverted winger who loves to cut inside and dribble past the defenders with pace and flair. His passing and dribbling skills make him a perfect fit for ‘Bielsa ball’, however, a few things still need to be worked upon to meet the standards of Premier League football. His work rate and crossing traits remain as weaknesses, but the tutelage of iconic Marcelo Bielsa would help him improve as a player, having shown the promises already at such a tender age.
Nevertheless, the fans are expecting an exciting summer in terms of transfer business. Leeds scripted a top-half finish against the odds and their recruitment team deserve massive plaudits if a deal is struck for Noa Lang.
