Manchester United clashed heads with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier today as they looked to pick up a positive result on the road and delay Man City’s title celebrations for at least until the next round of fixtures in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and conceded the opener in the 24th minute when Bertrand Traore scored with a world-class finish. Man United struggled to score the equalizer and went into the half-time break one goal down.
Bruno Fernandes equalized for the visitors just seven minutes into the second half before Mason Greenwood completed the turnaround in the 56th minute when he found the back of the net with a tidy finish. Edinson Cavani came off the bench to seal the points for the Mancunian outfit in the 87th minute. Ollie Watkins was sent off in the 89th minute as the Red Devils ended up winning the game by a 3-1 scoreline.
