West Ham United will lock horns with Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening hoping to pick up another away win in the Premier League. The Hammers managed to earn an impressive 3-1 victory over Aston Villa in midweek, so they will be confident about securing all three points at the English capital this weekend.
David Moyes will set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could be inclined to make a couple of tweaks to his first-team for this game. Both Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen are expected to return to Moyes’ starting XI at the expense of Said Benrahma and Ryan Fredericks.
4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Fulham
Defence
Łukasz Fabiański will operate in between the sticks for the East London outfit after conceding one goal versus the Villans in midweek. Angelo Ogbonna will partner up with Craig Dawson at the centre of the West Ham backline as they try to secure a clean sheet versus the Cottagers this weekend.
Vladimír Coufal will be a guaranteed starter at right-back while Aaron Cresswell will fill in on the other side as the left-back. Moyes will instruct both of them to be a bit more adventurous with their forward running than usual so that they can create some meaningful openings for their teammates up top.
Ben Johnson, Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop will all have to settle for a spot on the bench.
Midfield
Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice will once again function as the holding midfielders. The West Ham midfield pair will focus on dominating the ball at the centre of the park and engineering some clever attacking moves in the Fulham half.
The gifted trio of Pablo Fornals, Jesse Lingard and Jarrod Bowen will play just ahead of them as part of the Hammers attack. Lingard managed to score a brace in midweek, so he will be full of confidence ahead of this game at Craven Cottage.
Said Benrahma could get a rest on the bench but might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
Attack
Michail Antonio will lead the line for Moyes’s side in the final third. The English striker will look to use his pace to create some problems for the Fulham defenders on Saturday evening.
