West Ham United will entertain Doncaster Rovers at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon hoping to secure a victory and progress into the next round of the FA Cup. The Hammers managed to grind out a 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League in midweek, which will keep them in high spirits heading into the upcoming cup encounter versus the League One outfit.
David Moyes will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his team for this game. Darren Randolph could get the nod to start as the first-team keeper at the expense of Łukasz Fabiański, who will be rested on the bench.
4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Doncaster
Defence
As mentioned earlier, Randolph will probably get a start after an impressive display by him against Stockport County in the third round of the FA Cup. Moyes might rest both Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna this weekend, so we can expect Issa Diop to partner Fabian Balbuena at the heart of the West Ham backline as they look to keep a clean sheet at home.
Vladimír Coufal will continue to feature at right-back while Ben Johnson fills in on the other flank as a makeshift left-back. Both of them will be given the license to get forward and cause a few problems for the Doncaster full-backs out on the wide areas.
Midfield
Declan Rice will anchor the midfield along with Mark Noble as they focus on dominating the battle at the centre of the park. The technically-gifted trio of Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma and Andriy Yarmolenko will operate just ahead of them as part of the Hammers attack.
Tomas Soucek, Jarrod Bowen and Manuel Lanzini will be rested on the bench but could come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Michail Antonio will once again lead the line for the East London outfit up front. The English marksman managed to get his name on the scoresheet in midweek, so he might fancy his chances of netting a goal or two when he laces up to face off against the Doncaster centre-backs this weekend.
