The new season of Premier League began back in September, and we’ve already seen some fantastic matches. This is an excellent opportunity for the players to showcase their skill, especially if they haven’t had the chance to do it in the previous season.
Even though it might be too early to predict the winner of this season’s Premier League, betting platforms allow their users to place odds on Arsenal FC and bet on them to win in the upcoming matches against Southampton, Everton, and Chelsea.
While Arsenal may not have had a stellar performance up until now, there is plenty of time to turn the situation around, especially with players that have yet to show us their skills. Below, you’ll find some of the most promising names playing for Arsenal FC.
Bukayo Saka
Even though this 19-year-old joined the club before Arteta arrived, he has been flourishing during his time in the club. Despite being one of the youngest players in the entire Premier League, he has demonstrated mature play and fast pace.
Saka had shown immense talent when he played as a wing-back, a winger, and a full-back — he never looked out of place, he was always 100% in the game. We’re more than excited to see how he’ll play in this Premier League season.
William Saliba
Another promising 19-year-old who will grace the football field in the Arsenal jersey is Saliba. While he spent the last season on loan at Saint-Etienne, he returned to Arsenal just in time to help strengthen the club’s defence.
Just like his teammate Saka, Saliba is also regarded as a fantastic player who can significantly improve the overall team performance. Thanks to his firm and confident play, he made its way into the first squad for this Premier League season.
Rob Holding
We can all agree that last season was difficult for Holding due to his ACL injury in 2018. He managed to make five appearances from November 2019 to March 2020, which prevented him from showcasing his talent and consistency. Luckily, he’s had time to recover, and we immediately saw him getting back on his feet and finding his shtick.
Along with Saliba, Luiz, and Sokratis as the only centre-backs in Arsenal, he used the pre-season to impress Arteta, who decided to include him in the Premier League squad. Unfortunately, he faced another setback in October when he pulled his hamstring during warm-up. However, he is back now and is still a strong contender and a player with immense talent that can help with the current Arsenal Premier League standing.
Lucas Torreira
Arteta certainly respects Torreira and recognises his attitude. While Torreira’s midfielder skills have yet to be improved, he is known for leaving it all out of the field, which makes him a strong player.
Without a doubt, his defensive skills are outstanding. However, if he wants to stay on the first team and become a starting central midfielder, he has to improve his dribbling and passing abilities.
Dani Ceballos
Without a doubt, Ceballos is one of the top Arsenal players, which he confirmed in recent performances that made him one of the most influential players in 2020. His experience and skill prompted Arsenal to take another load and bring him to the club.
His dribbling, key passes, interceptions, ball recoveries, and touches launched him to the top of the Arsenal player list. With the 24-year-old on the team, Arsenal should have more aggressive gameplay in this season, along with a stronger defence.
