Premiership giants Rangers continued to their unbeaten run this season with a 3-2 comeback victory against Standard Liege in the Europa League. The away side took the lead on a couple of separate occasions, only for Rangers to turn things around later on. Steven Gerrard’s men came back from the first Liege goal through a Connor Goldson header, after which a James Tavernier penalty brought then level a second time. It finally took a well-crafted Scott Arfield goal to give the Ibrox club the advantage. The win means that Rangers have now progressed into the next round of the Europa League with a game still to spare.
