Premier League giants Manchester City took a solid stride towards regaining their league form after a convincing 5-0 win against Burnley at the Etihad Stadium today. The Citizens started the game completely in the ascendancy, and at no point did it look like they were going to be troubled by the attacking intentions that the Clarets possessed. Riyad Mahrez was the man of the evening, as he scored a brilliant hat-trick, much to Pep Guardiola’s joy. Ferran Torres and Benjamin Mendy got in on the act as well, after a midfield masterclass by Belgian ace Kevin De Bruyne.
