West Ham United will entertain Fulham at the London Stadium on Saturday night as they look to bounce back in the Premier League by securing maximum points at home. The Hammers are winless in their last three league matches, so they will be eager to return to winning ways by earning a win in this weekend’s highly anticipated London derby.
David Moyes will once again set his side up in a 3-4-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this league clash later this week. However, Michail Antonio won’t be available for selection due to injury.
3-4-3 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Fulham
Defence
Łukasz Fabiański will get the nod to operate in goal for the East London side despite conceding six goals in his past three league outings. The Hammers are expected to continue with a back three of Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna and Fabian Balbuena for this upcoming home encounter versus the Cottagers.
All three centre-halves will have to figure out a way to cope with the aerial threat of Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrović. Issa Diop will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek will assume the duties of the holding midfielders as they look to dominate the battle at the centre of the park by distributing possession well during the game. Arthur Masuaku will be a guaranteed starter on the left flank while Vladimír Coufal hopes to impress with another energetic display on the right. Moyes will ask both his wing-backs to be more adventurous than usual so that they can create some promising chances for Sebastien Haller up top.
Manuel Lanzini, Robert Snodgrass and Mark Noble will make up the numbers on the bench but could come on to impact the game if Moyes wants to add more energy and dynamism to his midfield in the final quarter of the contest.
Attack
West Ham’s frontline will be comprised of Pablo Fornals, Sebastien Haller and Jarrod Bowen. The attacking trio will focus on linking up with each other so that they can cause a lot of headaches for the Fulham defenders this weekend.
Andriy Yarmolenko could find himself on the bench once again but is likely to be used as a second-half substitute if required.
