Real Madrid will take on Cadiz at home on Saturday evening as they look to build on their impressive start to this La Liga campaign. The Madrid giants secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Levante before the international break but have just got a narrow one-point lead over Real Betis at the top of the league standings.
Los Blancos will set up in a 4-3-3 formation with Zinedine Zidane expected to keep changes to a minimum for this home clash versus Álvaro Cervera’s men.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Cadiz
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will assume the duties in between the sticks for the Spanish champions after securing back to back clean sheets against Real Valladolid and Levante in his last two starts. Sergio Ramos will resume his defensive partnership with Raphael Varane at the heart of Zidane’s defence as they try to keep things solid at the back this weekend.
Nacho will get the nod to operate at right-back in the absence of Dani Carvajal who is still out of action with a knee injury. Ferland Mendy will focus on putting on another good showing on the other side as the left-back.
Marcelo will have to settle for a spot on the bench, but Eder Militao is a significant doubt for this game at the Spanish capital.
Midfield
Zidane is expected to go with a midfield three of Luka Modric, Casemiro and Federico Valverde as they look to retain possession at the centre of the park and create some decent chances for their teammates to score in the opposition half.
Lucas Vazquez and Martin Ødegaard will be named on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to impact the game as the second-half substitutes if Zidane calls upon their services.
Attack
Vinicius Junior and Marco Asensio will be responsible for stretching the field out on the flanks while Karim Benzema operates as the centre-forward down the middle. Both Vinicius and Benzema managed to get their names on the scoresheet in their last outing which will give them a confidence boost heading into this league showdown versus the Andalusian outfit.
Luka Jovic and Isco will have to be content with a spot on the bench but could come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
